Buying Link Ads: Part III of III

Is SEO a constant losing battle for your e-Business? Boosting your website’s link popularity is a great way to increase your page rank (PR) and your results in popular search engine algorithms. Though initially controversial, the most effective method for acquiring popular, quality links appears to be buying link ads. To get the full effect, I created user accounts and made mock-purchases via three popular link ad websites. This is a three-part article, so check out the Text-Link-Ads.com post and the TextLinkBrokers.com post for a general understanding of each.

LiveCustomer.com

LiveCustomer.com is a relatively smaller e-Business geared towards buying link ads.

LiveCustomer.com lets you browse by keyword (15 categories) or search by keyword. Results include the website title and brief description, placement (similar to zone), Alexa rating, PR and price per month. Mousing over a result displays the number of ads available and a website screenshot.

LiveCustomer.com doesn’t provide a mini-shopping cart, so when you click to buy a link you’re moved to a new page that shows your cart and final checkout options. Also on the page is another brief description of the website, a field to submit your link text and domain name (25 characters maximum) as well as “Placement – Duration options” which range from 1 to 6 months.

LiveCustomer.com seemed a bit amateur; the site contained less back history and general information on buying link ads as well as lower link inventory.
