Buying Link Ads: Part II of III

Is SEO a constant losing battle for your e-Business? Boosting your website’s link popularity is a great way to increase your page rank (PR) and your results in popular search engine algorithms. Though initially controversial, the most effective method for acquiring popular, quality links appears to be buying link ads. To get the full effect, I created user accounts and made mock-purchases via three popular link ad websites. This is a three-part article, so check out the Text-Link-Ads.com post and the LiveCustomer.com post for a general understanding of each.

TextLinkBrokers.com

TextLinkBrokers.com, a popular site for buying link ads, has a complex layout, but is very legitimate. On the Text Link Brokers homepage, you can find a list of “Why [their] links are more effective.”

The benefits of TextLinkBrokers.com are less tangible than the Text-Link-Ads starter kit, but are of equal value. TextLinkBrokers.com appears to be a low-risk investment primarily based on the following: the site assures confidentiality of inventory, does not force reciprocal linking and continuously refreshes their inventory based on successes and link popularity. Click here for a closer look at Text Link Brokers benefits.

In addition to text link ads, TextLinkBrokers.com offers permanent one-way links as well as both Standard and Premium Hosted Marketing Pages.

Like most sites, TextLinkBrokers.com lets you browse by keyword (70 categories) or specific searches (including lists according to PR).

Results include the website title as a link to a description page, the year of domain registration (the older the better), site ID, Zone (the location of link on site), Alexa rating (the lower is better), Google PR, Type (homepage or subpage), and cost per month. (I found the process of moving to another page for a description rather disruptive to the browsing process.)

TextLinkBrokers.com has a mini-shopping cart on the same page— complete with a guarantee that “you will not be charged until after you've seen the sites and approved of them.”

The TextLinkBrokers.com checkout prompts you to submit your link text & link URL (35 character maximum). The page also requires link description (100 characters maximum) and more detailed contact information.

TextLinkBrokers.com was a very professional and useful site, but the layout was too cluttered.
